Flowing between the vineyards where the grapes for the great Moselle wine ripen, the romantic Moselle river forms the border between the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg and Germany. This is a region to be explored at leisure, whether by boat, by bicycle or on foot.
And just a few kilometres from the river a different yet equally enchanting landscape awaits discovery on foot, by bicycle – or why not by tractor?! Here, you can wander through scattered orchards, stroll through tranquil villages, and breathe in the clean air of our hills and meadows…

Take a leisurely stroll along the Esplanade, admire the famous Bacchus Fountain, or let the children enjoy the playground. The Esplanade is one of Remich’s favourite meeting places for both locals and visitors.
Bacchus Fountain
Created by Luxembourgish artist Will Lofy, the Bacchus Fountain depicts the Roman god of wine seated on a wine barrel. Located on the Esplanade, this iconic sculpture is enhanced by an elegant fountain and pays tribute to the region’s rich wine-making tradition.
After your walk, relax on one of the welcoming terraces overlooking Dr. F. Kons Square, where you can enjoy local cuisine and a glass of Luxembourg Moselle wine.
Jeannot Belling Park is the largest public park in Remich.
With its peaceful pond, spacious lawns and inviting benches, it is the perfect place to relax and unwind.
Families will appreciate the large children’s playground, while sports enthusiasts can enjoy the tennis courts, padel courts and pétanque facilities.
From June to mid-August, Remich’s local clubs and associations host the traditional “Um Gréin” Wine Festival, taking place every weekend throughout the summer.
Each weekend features delicious barbecue specialities, accompanied by excellent Luxembourg Moselle wines.
Live bands, orchestras and DJs create a festive atmosphere and invite visitors to dance and celebrate in the heart of Remich.
